From December 16th to 18th, our team had the incredible opportunity to travel to Hanoi for one of the most significant events in the Asian textile calendar: the Vietnam Hanoi Textile & Garment Industry Expo (HanoiTex).

As a company dedicated to the art and science of textiles—from the intricate heritage of lace to the precision engineering of modern lingerie—expanding our horizons into the bustling Vietnamese market was a natural and exciting step.

Why Hanoi?

Vietnam has rapidly become a global powerhouse for garment manufacturing. Hanoi, specifically, serves as a vital hub for innovation and trade. This exhibition brought together industry leaders, tech pioneers, and designers from across the globe, providing the perfect stage for us to share our latest collections and insights.

Highlights from the Expo Floor

Our booth was a hive of activity over the three-day event. Here are a few key takeaways from our time in Hanoi:

• Showcasing Our Lace Heritage: We were thrilled to present our high-end lace collections, including our signature Leaver Lace and Chemical (water-soluble) Lace. The feedback from local designers on the 3D texture and delicate patterns was overwhelmingly positive.
• Discussing the Future of Fit: With Vietnam’s massive production capacity, we had many deep conversations with manufacturers about the importance of structural bra engineering. Our expertise in how fabric choices impact breast shaping resonated with many brands looking to elevate their product quality.
• New Partnerships: We met with talented artisans and factory owners, laying the groundwork for future collaborations that bridge our design philosophy with Vietnam’s world-class manufacturing capabilities.

Looking Ahead

The energy in Hanoi was palpable. We return home with suitcases full of inspiration and a notebook full of new contacts. This expo wasn’t just about showing what we do; it was about learning from a market that is at the forefront of the textile revolution.
